This is the mix that I completed with my Canadian friend, the DJ and producer Carlo Cossette, formerly of Bully Records (RIP). We did this between 2005 and 2006, in full tag-team style- he started the mix and sent me the finished section and I followed on, sending him back the results. I didn't have any sort of internet in the place where I was living at that point, so it really was a postal service affair. We had some nice ideas on this one, and we included a crazy amount of different music. It came off super nice. We're really proud of this one and on top of the mix, you also get a 7" produced by Carlo too (mastered by the artist formerly known as Sixtoo!).
Expect to hear music from Jel, Caribou, Autolux, RJD2, Danny Breaks, Roots Manuva, Tortoise, Artifacts, LCD Soundsystem, Savath & Savalas, Dabrye, Digable Planets, Buck 65 and so many more. Re-edits, remixes, obscure dialogue, unreleased beats and productions from ourselves and a lot of surprises.
You will receive the proper finished package, which contains the mix CD, the 7" and a fold out tracklist with production notes.
